We're officially in our new space! The entire staff spent a day cleaning up work spaces and we now have a path for forklift traffic. Safety procedures are in place, and we are waiting delivery of our new signage. The staff has worked incredibly hard to ensure absolutely no delays in production during the move. While some competitors are backlogged for 8 months, we're still able to manufacture our systems in as little as two months while the high capacity systems will be done in 12 weeks!

We have so much space! We had a training session for all employees and no one had to stand, lurk in the hallway outside, or sit on anyone else's lap.
Look at that! You can see space between people! To the right, Andy tries to get a thumbs up from everyone but only Pat in finance responds.

We had a crew from Cannabis Business Times stop by for a tour to see the new space and to find out more about our continuous growth!

We also had a bit of a flash flood in early August when an ocean of rain fell in about an hour and it showed. Fortunately, our cars are not the ones below - these photos are from a neighboring factory.

Our 600th system is making the news at its new home in North Carolina. Our customer, Jeff Smith of Southern Extraction Labs is planning big things!
“We’re excited to work with Apeks to get our operation up and running for the fall harvest,” Smith said, “and are confident this system will not only deliver what we need to get off the ground, but help us scale as the North Carolina industry grows.”

Meet our newest team members!
Tom Williams earned his Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Technology and Management from the Ohio University. Not only is Tom a great addition to the team, he cut his work commute from nearly an hour to just 10 minutes here in Johnstown!
Ryan Hayes got tired of lake effect snow and moved south where we just get normal snow in winter. He attended the University of Akron and got his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2016. While studying, Ryan worked as a co-op engineer working on pressure vessels, process piping and atmospheric storage tanks. He'll be a good fit as a mechanical engineer here at Apeks with that background!

Welcome to the #apeksfamily Tom and Ryan - we're very happy you're here! If you'd like to join the growing family, please check out open positions on our website - click here.

We've had many calls and emails about the dispensary open date. It's all ready, and we're simply waiting on an operational permit from the state, but so are many other dispensaries and we just have to wait our turn! Keep an eye on our website to find out about a grand opening.

The only thing that was affected by the move was our Instagram #apekscustomerspotlight posts! There was a brief pause as other tasks took precedence but we're back with more posts of our amazing 600+ customers worldwide and the work they're doing.
