We announced our newest technologies last week at MJBizCon and we're excited to share them with you!
ReFraction™ ReFraction™ is our artificial intelligent "eyes inside the system". We have spent much of 2019 researching and developing this technology and are proud to say the results are better than expected! Apeks introduced the first truly smart technology in CO2 extraction that leverages artificial intelligence to give operators unprecedented insight into what’s really happening inside the system to increase efficiency and customize yield.

ReFraction™improves efficiency, maximizes desired outputs and customizes yield by automatically detecting saturation levels inside the machine, then will either alert the operator when to switch, or will switch automatically, between cannabinoids and terpenes - see the charts below for a snapshot of what the behind-the-scenes calibration will look like!
|
|
|
|
It also senses when diminishing returns begin and prevents a partial extraction by monitoring cannabinoid and terpene levels in real time so
the machine stops at the optimal time. This real time information not only allows operators to customize yields like never before, but also can eliminate the costly time of manually watching the extraction process and allow operators to move on to more productive day-to-day operations.
ReFraction™ can be programmed into Apeks’ high-output systems including The Duplex® and TheForce®.

This year has brought about tremendous changes for the industry and for Apeks Supercritical! Here's a summary of everything that happened at Apeks in 2019: February: we started broadcasting webinars and to date have reached more than 6,700 viewers March: we hosted an open house at our Commerce Road location and had an excellent turnout April: we went to a trade show in Germany and subsequently sold the show system to a customer in Greece May: signed the lease for our new 30,000 square foot facility June: we shipped our 600th system to a customer in North Carolina |

July: we completed the move to our new facility August: we closed an acquisition deal with RBI (Rough Brothers) September: we launched new branding |
|
|
|
October: we launched a new website November: we headed south to Cape Town for a trade show and signed a distribution agreement with a distributor in South Africa December: we introduced two new technologies - ReFraction™ and a co-solvent module upgrade |

|
|
In addition, over the course of the year, we increased our employee count to 46 and welcomed many new #apeksfamily members. We can't wait to see what 2020 brings! |
