Welcome to the roaring 20's! We don't have flying cars which is something of a disappointment but not to worry, here at Apeks we have lots of new technology in the works! Here's a quick recap:
ReFraction™ ReFraction™ is our artificial intelligent "eyes inside the system". We spent much of 2019 researching and developing this technology and are proud to say the results are better than expected! Apeks introduced the first truly smart technology in CO2 extraction that leverages artificial intelligence to give operators unprecedented insight into what’s really happening inside the system to increase efficiency and customize yield.

In December we hosted an open house at our new facility. The response was overwhelming and we had over 150 people attend! We also had a silent auction to raise money for a local dog rescue, and raised more than $400 selling off random bits of Apeks history! Couldn't make it on the day but still want a tour? Our mechanical assembly department takes the frame from the welders and puts all the gauges, valves and tubing on. They test to be sure everything works before it's handed over to the automation guys. The team consists of
Doug Chadwick, Eric Annarino, and John Eblin, and they play decent music in their corner of the factory! |

The new year means that Jake, Ben, and Lane are on the road again! Early in January, Jake went to Seattle, Ben went to Oklahoma, and Lane went to Maine. All of them were training new customers, which is of course included in the price of a system! |

In December, Kristen (director of quality, who sits on the board of the ASTM D37 committee, developing standards for the cannabis industry) spoke to Tara about current certifications, future certifications, and thoughts on the future of regulation in the industry.
