Sam and others in the engineering team have spent the last few weeks in Colorado, testing the co-solvent module on cannabis. They found that the extraction speed was increased by 300%! This is a game changer for our customers since the module can be retrofitted to most of our existing systems. Our co-solvent
injection module can also be added as a standalone component to any non-Apeks
CO2 Extraction systems as well. Contact us to find out more!
We already have 31 pre-orders for our co-solvent injection module! Delivery starts in May this year. Contact us to pre-order.

Did you know that our control panels are UL Listed for both the United States and for Canada? All our panels are built to combined US and Canadian UL specifications.
To quote from the UL website directly: "There are multiple variations of marks for UL’s Listing service, some of which are for use in the United States, others for use in Canada and still others for use in both markets. Products carrying marks for Canada have been evaluated to Canadian safety requirements, which may be somewhat different from U.S. safety requirements. A combination mark indicates compliance with both Canadian and U.S. requirements."
Make sure your manufacturer has the right certifications!

Recently a truck carrying a Duplex® to a customer skidded on ice and went into a tree. No people were hurt, but the Duplex® onboard was! Not only that, but it was a custom build for the customer. Within a week a shiny new customized Duplex® was on the road. That's the power of being the manufacturer - we were able to quickly redirect efforts in-house, to ensure that the customer was not delayed by an accident. Yet another Apeks Advantage!

Our March class is planned for 3/24-25 and the April class on 4/28-29. However, due to restrictions because of the virus pandemic, we are going to attempt to host classes virtually in March and possibly in later months!
Each class is a two-day event covering pre- and post-processing SOPs, lab theory and more!
Note: this class is theory with demonstrations by the instructor. It does not include Apeks extraction equipment training but if you purchase a system from us, full on-site training is included!
There is a test at the end of each day and certificates will be mailed to those with passing grades.
The class is free for current customers and $1,000 for non-customers, fully refundable if you purchase a system from us within six months!
To sign up for the March class, click here. To go on the list for a class later this year, click here.

The team from welding has grown quite large in the last few years! We have a partnership with a local vocational school so several of the welders came from there as interns and stayed on as full-time employees after graduation. We are grateful for the partnership because it's quite a struggle to find skilled trade workers, as we discussed in this 2017 blog post!

From left to right: Wyatt Hatfield (getting married in May), Austin Poelevoorde (adores his 8 month old daughter), Jeff Powell (likes camping and motorbikes), Eric Nethers (enjoys hunting and fishing), Kyler Conard (spends his free time outdoors on an ATV), Tahlil Johnson (an avid bowler), Nick Piper (likes hunting and fishing), Jeff Walters (zooms around on an ATV after work) - the welding dream team!
